Directions to Port Moody City Hall

Located at 100 Newport Drive. Civic Centre Complex features Library on one side, City Hall on other side. Short term parking is available in the front in the circular driveway, longer term parking is available in rear of building on surface lot or in underground parkade. All parking in Port Moody is free!

Social Recreation Centre and Arena (300 Ioco Road) are located behind the Civic Centre Complex and share the large surface parking lot.

FROM NORTH SHORE

  • Follow Hwy 1 East (Upper Levels Hwy)
  • Continue east over Iron Workers Memorial Bridge (2nd Narrows)
  • Stay in right or center lane, exit just after crossing bridge following Hastings Street exit
  • Stay left and turn left at Hastings Street (now traveling east bound)
  • Continue through north Burnaby
  • This turns into the Barnet Highway (slight left curve in highway)
  • Continue on highway around Burnaby Mountain (past Kask Bros cement, Velodrome, Barnet Marine Park, Reed Point Marina).
  • Turn left at St. Johns Street/Highway 7A (Craftsman Collision at intersection)
  • Continue for 2.7 km through Port Moody
  • Take first left after Golden Spike Pub (Ioco Road) (Westwood Honda, Esso at intersection)
  • Newport Drive is second set of lights – turn left

FROM VANCOUVER, BURNABY (NORTH)

  • Take Hastings Street east
  • Continue through north Burnaby
  • This turns into the Barnet Highway (slight left curve in highway)
  • Continue on highway around Burnaby Mountain (past Kask Bros cement, Velodrome, Barnet Marine Park, Reed Point Marina).
  • Turn left at St. Johns Street/Highway 7A (Craftsman Collision at intersection)
  • Continue for 2.7 km through Port Moody
  • Take first left after Golden Spike Pub (Ioco Road) (Westwood Honda, Esso at intersection)
  • Newport Drive is second set of lights – turn left

FROM PORT COQUITLAM, POINTS EAST

  • Take Lougheed Highway west.
  • Do not turn left at Coquitlam Centre/Coquitlam Chrysler, but continue straight on Barnet Highway.
  • Continue west along Barnet Hwy/7A through Coquitlam for 2.3 km to Port Moody welcome sign.
  • Just past sign, turn right on Ioco Road (at Esso station).
  • Make second left at Newport Drive.

FROM SURREY, SOUTH SHORE OF FRASER

  • Take Highway 1 west over Port Mann bridge.
  • Take first exit (Exit #44, "Coquitlam Port Moody")
  • Follow signs to Highway 7 east (signs say Coquitlam City Centre – Port Moody)
  • Continue on Highway 7.
  • Turn left at Coquitlam Centre/Coquitlam Chrysler, just past railway underpass
  • Continue west along Barnet Hwy/7A through Coquitlam for 2.3 km to Port Moody welcome sign.
  • Just past sign, turn right on Ioco Road (at Esso station).
  • Make second left at Newport Drive.

FROM NEW WESTMINSTER

  • Take North Road north (past Lougheed Mall). North Road becomes Clarke Road near Burquitlam Plaza (Value Village, Safeway). Continue north, past Port Moody welcome sign and down steep hill. Road curves eastward. At intersection at bottom of hill continue straight (east). You are now on St. Johns Street/Highway 7A.
  • Continue for 2.7 km through Port Moody
  • Take first left after Golden Spike Pub (Ioco Road) (Westwood Honda, Esso at intersection)
  • Newport Drive is second set of lights – turn left

FROM TSAWWASSEN FERRIES

  • Take Highway 17 from Tsawwassen ferry terminal
  • Take Highway 99 north.
  • After bridge over Fraser, take Marine Drive east
  • Left on Boundary Road and continue for 9 km
  • Turn right on Hastings Street and continue for approx 5.8 km
  • This turns into the Barnet Highway (slight left curve in highway)
  • Continue on highway around Burnaby Mountain (past Kask Bros cement, Velodrome, Barnet Marine Park, Reed Point Marina).
  • Turn left at St. Johns Street/Highway 7A (Craftsman Collision at intersection)
  • Continue for 2.7 km through Port Moody
  • Take first left after Golden Spike Pub (Ioco Road) (Westwood Honda, Esso at intersection)
