Port Moody needs a new fire hall.  Fire Hall #1 does not meet current or future operational, administrative and organizational needs.

We want to hear your ideas about how we get there.  Your feedback influences the choices that Port Moody City Council makes.

Funding for a new fire hall and redevelopment of the current fire hall site

The cost of a new Fire Hall #1 could be up to $16 million.  There are a number of ways to cover this cost.  The table below shows varying levels of development potential for the current fire hall site and the resulting land sale revenues, borrowing and tax implications to cover the capital cost of a new fire hall.
